Passenger harbour is situated by Bulwar Włostowica on Piaskowa Island
on Ostrów Tumski. The promenade was constructed and opened for the visitors in 1998,
one year after the flood of the century in 1997. There is a plate commemorating water level and the date of the flood in the harbour. Due to its location, the harbour was called "Kardynalska Harbour".
